[Paint + wooden beads = brand new necklace]

I recently found a set of six wooden napkin rings at a second hand store for $0.99 and decided to make a candleholder out of them. This idea didn't really pan out. So, I decided that I would paint them and put them on some chunky rope and ta da!!! A necklace! I liked the idea so much that I started painting a variety of wooden beads I had collected over the years. One thing I've learned is that I am a horrible painter but I'm satisfied with this being my first attempt.

If you would like to make one of these necklaces, it is really simple. Here is what you will need:

// Acrylic paints of your choice. [I like acrylic because it dries quickly and because I am impatient]
// A small paint brush
// A piece of rope [longer than 70cms]
// Uncoated wooden beads or napkin rings
// No painting skills required - just give it a go

Happy crafting.
